The State Planning Board Library is a leading research and reference library in the area of development studies, gender studies, industry and general
economics. Its primary aim is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and
providing value added services.

Development.

Circulation of books and Journals
Preparation of bibliographies on specific subjects from the computerized database
Indexing and abstracting of journals
Resource sharing and Inter- library loan with other libraries
The library is equipped with all modern facilities, with centrally air conditioned and its operations are fully automated with LAN connectivity and LCD
screens for viewing documentaries.

The Vice- Chairman, State Planning Board is the final authority in all matters of administration of Library. The Library Advisory Committee gives guidance and direction in all functions and activities related to Library.
